Who we are

Momento (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered gifting studio that turns personal photographs into printed keepsakes. Our website is getmymomento.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@getmymomento.com.

What we collect

• Account information — email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
• Photos you upload — images you share to create your gift design. These are stored in our secure cloud storage and used solely to generate your personalised product.
• AI-generated artwork — the styled images produced from your photos during the design process.
• Shipping address and recipient name — collected at checkout to fulfil your order.
• Payment information — card details are processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Chat messages — your conversation with the Momento studio AI, stored so you can resume a project later.
• Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for debugging and abuse prevention.

How we use your data

• To create, preview, and fulfil your personalised product order.
• To send you an order confirmation and shipping updates via email.
• To improve the AI styling system and the quality of generated artwork.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.

We do not sell your personal data or photos to third parties, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

Third-party services

We share data with the following sub-processors only to the extent necessary to deliver our service:

• Supabase — database and file storage (EU/US infrastructure).
• Google (Vertex AI / Gemini) — AI image generation and chat. Photos are sent to Google’s API to produce your design.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy.
• Printful — print-on-demand fulfilment. Your design file and shipping address are sent to Printful to produce and ship your order.
• Resend — transactional email (order confirmation, shipping notifications).

Data retention

Your account and associated designs are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@getmymomento.com. Uploaded photos and AI-generated artwork are deleted within 90 days of account deletion. Order records are retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getmymomento.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA. We honour all requests regardless of jurisdiction.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in (set by Supabase Auth). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Momento is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the site before the changes take effect.
